...National Weather Service Damage Survey Findings for March 19,
2021 Tornado Event in Pacific County Washington...

A National Weather Service damage survey today revealed that a
short, weak tornado occurred in Ilwaco, Washington Friday evening
March 19, 2021, just north of the Port of Ilwaco Airport. The
tornado began near the intersection of Redwing Drive and Captain
Gray Drive around 804 PM PDT, and tracked northeastward across a
housing subdivision, and then crossed the Wallacut River before
dissipating near the intersection of Chinook Valley Road, and U.S.
Highway 101 around 808 PM PDT. While this tornado was weak and
brief, it did cause some minor damage to trees, fences, windows,
shingles, and other unsecured attachments to structures along the
path. Details of the tornado path are listed below.

In addition, a second storm that tracked from the south side of
the City of Long Beach to the southern part of Willapa Bay also
exhibited some weak rotation on radar. National Weather Service
staff examined this path, but found no evidence of a tornado or
wind damage along this second storm path.
