CENTRAL AND SOUTHWEST COASTAL PLAINS OF PUERTO RICO TODAY TILL
SUNSET...

RELATIVE HUMIDITIES IN EASTERLY FLOW HAVE BEEN DROPPING TO BETWEEN
39-50 PERCENT OVER PORTIONS OF THE SOUTH COAST FOR A FEW HOURS
EACH DAY. KBDI VALUES WAS 675 AT CAMP SANTIAGO AND APPROACHING
540 IN CABO ROJO. WINDS WILL BE INCREASING TODAY OVER THE AREA.
SUNNY CONDITIONS ARE EXPECTED TO CONTINUE OVER THIS AREA TODAY,
THEREFORE FIRE DANGER CONDITIONS ARE CONSIDERED ELEVATED.

FIRE AND EMERGENCY OFFICIALS SHOULD BE AWARE THAT WEATHER
CONDITIONS ARE BECOMING MORE CONDUCIVE FOR THE IGNITION AND
SPREAD OF WILD FIRES.

FIRE DANGER STATEMENTS ARE ISSUED WHEN FIRE WEATHER CONDITIONS
ARE APPROACHING, BUT NOT MEETING OR EXCEEDING, RED FLAG WARNING
CRITERIA.
