* Special Marine Warning for...
  S of Cape Lookout NC to Surf City NC out to 20 nm...
  Waters from Cape Lookout to Surf City NC from 20 to 40 nm...

* Until 730 PM EDT.

* At 639 PM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located near Ar345, or 14
  nm southeast of Bogue Inlet, moving north at 40 knots.

  HAZARD...Wind gusts to 40 knots.

  SOURCE...Radar.

  IMPACT...Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and
           suddenly higher waves.

* Locations impacted include...
  Atlantic Beach, Bogue Sound, Salter Path, Ar342, Beaufort Inlet,
  Pine Knoll Shores, Ar320, Bogue Inlet, Ar345, Beaufort, Emerald
  Isle, Ar315, The Turning Basin, Ar340, Ar330, and The Morehead
  City-Atlantic Beach Bridge.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Move to safe harbor until hazardous weather passes.

Frequent lightning is occurring with this storm. If caught on the
open water stay below deck if possible, keep away from ungrounded
metal objects.

Report severe weather to the Coast Guard or the National Weather
