A cold front has ushered the coldest air of the season into
southeast Louisiana. With clearing skies expected overnight, low
temperatures are expected to be in the mid 30s to around 40 for
much of the south shore and lower portions of the southeast
Louisiana coastal parishes. While sub-freezing temperatures are
not forecast for this area, north winds that will be around 10 mph
will bring wind chill factors into the upper 20s to mid 30s
tonight. Those people spending any significant amount of time
outdoors should be prepared for the much colder weather tonight.
