AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Lake effect snow. By early afternoon, expect snow
  accumulations of 1 to 4 inches, greatest from Grand Marais
  southward along highway M-77. Northwest winds gusting to 30 to
  45 mph, highest around Grand Marais.

* WHERE...Alger County.

* WHEN...Until 1 PM EST this afternoon.

* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions, especially along
  highway M-77. Patchy blowing snow could significantly reduce
  visibility.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Slow down and use caution while traveling.
