...WINTER STORM WARNING IN EFFECT FROM 5 PM THURSDAY TO 11 PM MST
SATURDAY...

* WHAT...Heavy snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 1 to 2
  feet across most of the park, 4 to 8 inches near Mammoth, and
  locally higher amounts to over 3 feet on the Pitchstone Plateau.
  Winds gusting as high as 55 mph, Thursday night into Friday
  morning.

* WHERE...Yellowstone National Park.

* WHEN...From 5 PM Thursday to 11 PM MST Saturday.

* IMPACTS...Travel will be very difficult to impossible.
  Widespread blowing snow will significantly reduce visibility.
  Local whiteout conditions are possible, especially Thursday
  night into Friday morning.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If you must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food, and water in
your vehicle in case of an emergency.

  West, Wind River Mountains East and Salt River and Wyoming
  Ranges.
