Plenty of sunshine was observed across the region this morning,
with only some high clouds noted on satellite. Late morning
temperatures were in the 60s to lower 70s.

A gradual increase in clouds is anticipated for this afternoon.
High temperatures will be in the middle to upper 70s in most
locations, though onshore winds will result in cooler readings in
the upper 50s and 60s near the lakeshore.

Chances for showers and thunderstorms return to the forecast area
late tonight into Monday. Lows tonight will be in the 50s, with
highs on Monday ranging from the middle 60s to middle 70s.

This will be the start of a stormy period, which will last into
Tuesday night. There will be potential for severe storms and heavy
rainfall at times, with the greatest potential occurring Tuesday
afternoon and evening.
