Low pressure over southern Minnesota this morning will continue
moving northeast and away from the region today. Lingering cloud
cover will remain over the area today, along with pockets of light
rain and drizzle mainly during the morning hours. Another area of low
pressure will be on the heels of the departing one, moving northward
across the Central Plains on Sunday and into Minnesota by Sunday
night. This system will spread more rainfall across the region,
especially over eastern portions of the listening area, where
rainfall amounts may exceed a half inch.

Highs today will range from the upper 40s to mid 50s for most
locations. Lows tonight will generally fall to a few degrees either
side of 40 degrees. Highs on Sunday will only rise into the 40s for
most areas.
