.DISCUSSION...Moderate west to southwest flow aloft will persist
across the region into the weekend, with several embedded waves
expected to translate through the flow across the Northern Rockies.
One wave moved across the region early this morning, with a cold
front pushing south across the plains this morning allowing for
breezy east to southeast winds across the burn site today. While
we can`t rule out a few cumulus buildups across the higher terrain
this afternoon, any precipitation is expected to be east of the
burn site. Another embedded wave will bring increasing southwest
flow aloft across the region tonight and through the day on Friday,
with breezy southwest winds developing across the burn site
on Friday. Any precipitation is again expected to be east of
the burn site on Friday, with chances of afternoon and evening
showers and thunderstorms across the region on Saturday.
