Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the highest
1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the average of
the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...Strong low pressure of 29.30 inches moves from the
central Plains through Lake Superior tonight into Saturday while
weakening to 29.60 inches. The system brings increasing southeast
wind and a pattern of showers and possible thunderstorms tonight.
Wind turning southwest pulls warmer air into the region while
supporting a continued thunderstorm threat Saturday into Sunday.
The associated cold front stalls over Lake Huron and Lower
Michigan during Sunday while yet another low pressure system at
29.60 inches moves into the central Plains.

evening...then mostly cloudy with a chance of light showers after
midnight. Waves 2 to 4 feet.
.SATURDAY...South winds 15 to 20 knots. Mostly cloudy with a chance
of light showers. Waves 2 to 4 feet.
.SATURDAY NIGHT...Southwest winds 15 to 20 knots diminishing to 10
to 15 knots after midnight. Partly cloudy in the evening becoming
mostly cloudy. Waves 1 to 3 feet.
.SUNDAY...Southwest winds 10 to 15 knots. Mostly cloudy. A chance of
light showers in the morning...then a chance of showers and
thunderstorms in the afternoon. Waves 2 feet or less.
.SUNDAY NIGHT...South winds 10 to 15 knots. Partly cloudy. Waves 2
feet or less.
.MONDAY...South winds 15 to 20 knots. Partly sunny becoming mostly
cloudy. Waves 1 to 3 feet.
.TUESDAY...Southwest winds 10 to 15 knots. Partly cloudy. Light
showers likely and a chance of thunderstorms. Waves 2 feet or less.
.WEDNESDAY...West winds 10 to 15 knots. Partly cloudy. Waves 2 feet
or less.
