...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1015 PM EDT
FOR SOUTHEASTERN GADSDEN...NORTHWESTERN JEFFERSON AND LEON
COUNTIES...

At 916 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from near Havana to 12 miles south of Greensboro, moving
east at 25 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
         roofs, siding, and trees.

These severe storms will be near...
  Tallahassee and Midway around 920 PM EDT.
  Tallahassee Community College around 935 PM EDT.
  Doak Campbell Stadium around 940 PM EDT.
  Florida State University and Florida A and M around 945 PM EDT.
  Woodville around 1005 PM EDT.

Other locations impacted by these severe thunderstorms include Lake
Bradford, Gaither Community Center, Tallahassee Memorial Hosp, Walker
Ford Community Center, Miccosukee, South City, Eight Mile Pond,
Griffin Heights, Tallahassee Regional A/P, and Governors Square Mall.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 100 AM EDT for Big Bend
Florida.

Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

Continuous cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
Move indoors immediately. Lightning is one of nature`s leading
killers. Remember, if you can hear thunder, you are close enough to
be struck by lightning.

Torrential rainfall is occurring with these storms, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
