...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 915 PM CDT
FOR SOUTHWESTERN OSAGE...NORTHWESTERN COFFEY AND SOUTHERN LYON
COUNTIES...

At 848 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from 8 miles southwest of Americus to 10 miles west of Olpe
to 12 miles west of Hamilton, moving east at 55 mph.

HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect considerable
         tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to mobile homes,
         roofs, and outbuildings.

Locations impacted include...
Emporia, Lebo, Americus, Olpe, Hartford, and Neosho Rapids.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 35 between mile markers 128 and 146.
 Kansas Turnpike between mile markers 117 and 135.
