.Summary...
Though March did have its cooler moments, the month was generally warmer
than average and about 3/4 inches wetter than average. The coldest
temperatures were during the middle portion of the month. However, there
were absolutely no freezes recorded for the first time in eight years (since
2012).

This was the wettest March in four years, with frequent rainfall throughout
the month. In fact, over half of the days in the month had measurable rainfall.
There were 11 consecutive days with measurable rainfall from March 9th through
March 19th. This was the greatest such number since 1973, and the 3rd longest
period of consecutive days with measurable rainfall since records begain in
1874. Only the 12 day periods between April 15-26, 1973 and July 14-25, 1931
were longer.

For the first time in two years, no snow fell.

-The average high temperature was the warmest since 2018.
-The average low temperature was the warmest since 2012.
-The average monthly temperature awas the warmest since 2016.

.Monthly Rainfall...
It was the wettest March since 2016, but nowhere near the top ten wettest.

There were 16 days with measurable rainfall during the month, which was the
most for March since 2015. Of these days, 11 were consecutive between
March 9th and 19th. This was the most for March since 1914, and the most on
record for the month, beating out March 25-31, 1914 by four days.
