.Discussion...
Meteorological conditions favorable for extreme fire behavior are
not anticipated during this entire forecast period.
For this afternoon and tomorrow afternoon, scattered afternoon and
evening thunderstorms are anticipated over the southern mountains
and over the plains. The storms on Thursday are expected to be
rather strong, especially over the eastern plains. For the remainder
of the period, thunderstorms during the afternoon and evening will be
more isolated, and temperatures will gradually warm into early next
week.
Smoke dispersion will generally be good or better both this
afternoon and tomorrow afternoon across the district.
