Upper Texas coastal waters from High Island to the Matagorda Ship
Channel out 60 nautical miles including Galveston and Matagorda
Bays.

Seas are provided as a range of the average height of the highest
1/3 of the waves...along with the occasional height of the
average highest 10 percent of the waves.

.Synopsis For High Island to the Matagorda Ship Channel Out 60 NM
including Galveston and Matagorda Bays.

Light southwest to west winds and low seas are expected through this
evening. A cold front will pass through late tonight into early Wednesday
morning with moderate to strong and gusty northeast to east winds and
elevated seas developing in its wake. A small craft advisory is
in effect for all of our waters beginning tonight. The advisory
will continue for at least a portion of the waters through
Thursday morning. Moderate to occasionally strong east winds and
elevated seas are expected to persist for the remainder of the
week and even through most of the weekend. Elevated water levels
across the bays may be possible.
