High pressure will be north northwest of the area, as powerful Hurricane Milton approaches the central Gulf coast of FL Today. The storm will cross the FL peninsula Wednesday night, and move into the western Atlantic early Thursday morning. Milton will move southeast of area waters during the afternoon Thursday, but winds and waves wrapping around the backside of the storm will keep conditions elevated well into the weekend. High pressure will build over the region over the weekend. A cold front will move southeast across region Monday night into Tuesday. .GULF STREAM...
