DISCUSSION FOR ORANGE ECC DISPATCH
327 AM PDT THU OCT 10 2024

ELEVATED FIRE WEATHER CONDITIONS WILL CONTINUE FOR EACH AFTERNOON
THROUGH FRIDAY FOR THE DESERTS, MOUNTAINS, AND INLAND VALLEYS WITH
ABOVE AVERAGE HIGH TEMPERATURES AND LOWEST HUMIDITY OF 10 TO
20 PERCENT. THERE WILL BE COOLING FOR THE WEEKEND INTO THE MIDDLE OF
NEXT WEEK WITH A RECOVERY IN HUMIDITY FOR INLAND AREAS. A LOW
PRESSURE SYSTEM MOVING INLAND THROUGH THE WESTERN STATES COULD
BRING SOME LIGHT PRECIPITATION SOME TIME AROUND WEDNESDAY AND
THURSDAY OF NEXT WEEK.

...DISCUSSION FROM LAXFWFSGX...

...DISCUSSION FROM PHXFWFPSR...

STRONG HIGH PRESSURE WILL REMAIN DOMINANT OVER THE REGION THROUGH
THE WEEKEND ALLOWING FOR CONTINUED UNSEASONABLY HOT AND DRY
CONDITIONS. SOME GRADUAL COOLING IS EVENTUALLY EXPECTED BY EARLY
NEXT WEEK, BUT TEMPERATURES WILL REMAIN WELL ABOVE NORMAL. DAILY
MINRHS BETWEEN 5-10% CAN BE EXPECTED ACROSS THE LOWER DESERTS TO
10-15% OVER HIGHER TERRAIN AREAS. WINDS WILL CONTINUE TO BE LIGHT
OVER THE NEXT SEVERAL DAYS, FOLLOWING TYPICAL DIURNAL PATTERNS.

NOTE...ADDITIONAL FIRE WEATHER FORECAST INFORMATION CAN BE FOUND IN
THE AREA FORECAST DISCUSSION. SEE PRODUCT PHXAFDPSR.
