New England continental shelf and slope waters from 25 nm
offshore to the Hague Line, except to 1000 fm south of New
England.

Conditions given represent the highest within that period.

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

Locally higher winds and seas can be expected in and near tstms.

.SYNOPSIS FOR NEW ENGLAND WATERS...A series of low pressure
troughs or secondary cold fronts will move across the waters
today as high pressure builds E towards the coast. The high will
settle offshore late today and tonight, then shift E of the
region Thu while weakening. An intensifying low pressure system
will track NE and pass just S of the waters Thu, then will
accelerate well E of the area Thu night through Fri night while
pulling another series of low pressure troughs or cold fronts
across the waters. High pressure will build E to the mid-
Atlantic coast Sat, and will pass well S and SE of the area Sat
night through Sun night. A weak cold front will move E across the
waters Sun into Sun night.
