Including the cities of Lovell, Greybull, Shell, Basin, Riverton,
Lander, Dubois, Thermopolis, Buffalo, Kaycee, Casper, Pinedale,
Big Piney, Rock Springs, Green River, and Worland

...Elevated Fire Weather Conditions Expected from noon to 7 PM MDT
this Saturday afternoon and early evening...

Weather conditions will be favorable for rapid fire spread in
wildland fuels, including grasses and shrubs.

WHERE: Areas near and east of the Divide to include Sublette,
Sweetwater, Fremont, Johnson, Natrona, Hot Springs, Big Horn, and
Washakie Counties.

WHEN: Noon to 7 PM MDT

RELATIVE HUMIDITY: 10 to 20 percent

WIND: 20 to 30 mph and gusts over 40 mph

TEMPERATURE: 85 to 95 degrees F

IMPACT: Ignition sources may trigger fire starts. Fire and
emergency officials should be aware that weather conditions will
be favorable for the development of significant wind-driven grass
and shrub fires.
