.Synopsis for the southern California coast and Santa Barbara
Channel including the Channel Islands National Marine Sanctuary
and National Park...at 15Z or 7 AM PST, a 1030 mb high was centered
near Medford, Oregon and a 1029 mb high was 700 NM NW of Point
Conception. A 1016 mb trough of low pressure extended from NW Mexico
into southeastern CA. A low pressure system will approach the
coastal waters tonight through Tuesday with increasing southerly
winds and building seas.
