...THUNDERSTORMS DUE TO A TROPICAL WAVE CONTINUE TO AFFECT THE
LOCAL WATERS THIS AFTERNOON...

THUNDERSTORMS ALONG THE WESTERN COASTLINE OF PUERTO RICO PERSIST
AND WILL CONTINUE TO AFFECT THE LOCAL WATERS AS MORE STORMS
DEVELOP OVERLAND. THE MONA PASSAGE AND THE OFFSHORE ATLANTIC
WATERS ALSO HAVE SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS. THESE STORMS ARE CAPABLE
OF PRODUCING HEAVY RAINS, LIGHTNING, AND STRONG WIND GUST.

Boaters should seek safe harbor immediately until these storm
passes. Intense lightning is occurring with these storms. If
caught on the open water stay below deck if possible, keep away
from ungrounded metal objects.

possible watches or warnings from your National Weather Service
forecast office in San Juan.
