.DISCUSSION...
At the burn site, expect partly cloudy skies today with quickly
passing isolated rain showers bringing only a few sprinkles. Of
greater concern are the shifting winds. Near calm winds right now
will increase to around 5 mph from the northwest around mid-day.
During the afternoon, northwest winds will increase to around 10
mph. With any brief rain shower, winds could briefly gust to 20
mph for a short time. Smoke and haze in the region will make it
difficult to see any approaching rain shower. Overnight, expect
winds out of the north and northeast around 10 mph. Local
wind conditions within draws and coulees will vary slightly,
generally upslope during the day, and generally downslope during
the night.
