...HEAT ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM NOON TODAY TO 7 PM EDT THIS
EVENING...

.DISCUSSION...Very hot and humid today and thunderstorm activity expected
to hold off until after sunset tonight, with the main impact the high heat
indices of 110 to 112 degrees this afternoon. Widely scattered shower and
thunderstorm activity is possible tonight with better chances of scattered
storms Sunday afternoon. Mainly Southwest flow is expected, but a brief
period of South to Southeast winds with a weak sea breeze are possible during
the mid to late afternoon hours.
