...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 730 PM EDT THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive
  rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of central South Carolina, including the
  following counties, Calhoun, Clarendon and Orangeburg.

* WHEN...Until 730 PM EDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
  Overflowing poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 538 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
    thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream
    flooding. Between 0.5 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen.
  - Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are expected over
    the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Holly Hill, Bowman, Elloree, Santee State Park, Santee,
    Cameron, Eutawville, Vance, Mill Creek Marina and Campground,
    Poplar Creek Landing, Indian Bluff Recreation Park, Stumphole
    Landing, Yonder Field, Eautaw Springs, Blounts Landing and
    Rocks Pond Campground and Marina.
  - This includes the following highways...
    Interstate 95 between mile markers 85 and 103.
    Interstate 26 between mile markers 148 and 169.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Most flooding deaths occur in vehicles. Never drive through a
flooded roadway or around barricades. Turn around, don`t drown.

Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
