The sky ranged from partly to mostly sunny across the eastern half
of Kansas this afternoon. Temperatures ranged from the 60s to the
lower 70s, except for cooler upper 50s in the northeast corner of
the state.

Low pressure aloft and a surface cold front will move southeast
across mid-America tonight. There will be a slight chance for
showers this evening in central and eastern Kansas, though little
if any measurable rainfall is expected. A better chance for
showers will exist across Missouri tonight into midday on Sunday,
with a chance for thunderstorms across eastern Oklahoma and
northwest Arkansas. A chance for rain changing to snow is
expected across eastern Nebraska and Iowa tonight through early

Low temperatures tonight will drop into the 20s and 30s over much
of the heartland. Highs on Sunday will generally climb into the
40s and 50s, except for colder 30s in parts of Nebraska and Iowa.
