Hydrologic Outlook
National Weather Service Great Falls MT
752 AM MDT Wed Apr 25 2018

...Significant precipitation event possible Sunday into Monday....

Another spring storm is expected to affect much of North Central
and Southwest MT Sunday into Monday. Widespread precipitation
amounts of 1 to 2 inches are possible over much of North Central
and Southwest MT.

The airmass will be cold enough, that some of the precipitation
will fall in the form of snow, especially for elevations above
7000 feet.

The expected rainfall, combined with the warm temperatures Friday
and Saturday, could cause some flooding problems, especially for
small streams and creeks that flow out of the mountains.

Thus, those with livestock or irrigation equipment next to small
streams and creeks should be prepared to move those items to
higher ground should flooding develop.
