.DISCUSSION...
A ridge of high pressure aloft will temper afternoon thunderstorm activity
for one more day before a pattern change takes place Friday. Isolated
thunderstorms still possible this afternoon under a warm atmosphere, decent
dewpoints, and sufficient instability. However the real change will come Friday
as the ridge moves east and the High Plains are left under a southwesterly
flow aloft. This will bring daily thunderstorm possibilities. Warm temperatures
forecast for the period.

Sky/weather.........Mostly sunny becoming partly cloudy in the afternoon.
Isolated showers and thunderstorms possible mainly
between 2 and 6 PM MDT.
Chance of pcpn......15 percent.
Max temperature.....94 to 96.
Min humidity........21 to 23 percent.
Surface winds.......South to southeast winds around 3 to 6 mph shifting to
the west 4 to 7 mph in the afternoon. Breezy winds
possible with thunderstorm.
