Patchy dense fog will continue over inland portions of the Coastal
Plains this morning, generally along and west of Highway 77. Some
areas will experience visibilities of 1/2 mile or less, although
most areas will have visibilities of 1 mile or more. Fog is
expected to dissipate by 9 AM.

Affected motorists should prepare for rapidly changing visibilities.
When encountering fog, slow down and leave plenty of distance
between your vehicle and other vehicles. Only use low beam
headlights, and plan on leaving earlier if you normally commute in
a fog-prone area.
