...Moderate Risk of Rip Currents Today...

Rip Current Risk:      Moderate Risk. Life threatening rip currents are
                       possible in the surf zone. Remember to swim near
                       a lifeguard and with a non-inflatable flotation
                       device, such as a life jacket or boogie board.

Lightning Risk:       None.

Ultraviolet Index:     Very High. Wear a wide-brimmed hat and sunglasses,
                       and use sunscreen of SPF 15 or higher. Remain in
                       shade if possible.

Weather:               Windy. Mostly cloudy skies becoming partly cloudy.

Temperatures:          Near 80.

Wind:                  South 25 to 30 mph with higher gusts.

Wave Heights:          4 to 6 feet.

Surf Temperature:      74 degrees.

Bay Temperature:       72 degrees.

Tides:                 A high at 12 41 pm.

Outlook:               An elevated risk of rip currents will continue
                       through much of next week as breezy conditions
                       will continue to lead to elevated surf action.
                       Temperatures stay warm near 80 degrees through
                       Wednesday before cooling slightly in wake of a
                       cold front. The front will lead to a chance of
                       showers and thunderstorms during Wednesday and
                       Thursday of this week.
