This hazardous weather outlook is for Eastern Upper Michigan and
Northern Lower Michigan.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

There is a high swim risk, including an elevated risk for rip
currents, today on Lake Michigan beaches of northern Michigan.

Scattered thunderstorms are expected across the area today and
tonight. While widespread severe weather is not expected, isolated
severe wind gusts are possible along and south of Grand Traverse
Bay. In addition, any storms will be capable of producing very
heavy rainfall rates.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday.

There is a chance for thunderstorms Friday through Saturday
night. Locally heavy rain is possible.

nearshore waters of Lake Huron, Lake Michigan and Lake Superior.

Scattered thunderstorms are expected across the nearshore waters
today and tonight. While widespread severe weather is not
expected, isolated severe wind gusts are possible along and south
of Grand Traverse Bay. In addition, any storms will be capable of
producing very heavy rainfall rates.
