Hydrologic Outlook
National Weather Service Billings MT
959 AM MDT Sun Jun 28 2020

...Heavy rainfall will produce rises on small streams along with
ponding of water in low lying areas early this week...

Periods of heavy rainfall are expected across the area today and
tonight and could potentially linger off and on into Tuesday.
Widespread rainfall amounts of one to two inches are possible by the
time rains taper off early this week.

While no significant flooding is expected at this time, the heavy
rainfall will likely produce significant rises on small streams
across the region and result in ponding of water in low lying areas.
These conditions could result in difficult travel in rural areas.

Those planning recreational activities should prepare for the heavy
rainfall and rising river levels. Remain a safe distance from rising
streams and never drive through water that covers roadways.
