This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of central...south
central...southwest and west central Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

Day 1 Discussion

Unseasonably warm temperatures will result in low relative
humidity this afternoon. North winds behind a weak cold front are
expected to remain below red flag criteria.

* Fire weather: Elevated risk

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday.

Days 2-7 Discussion

The next cold front is expected to bring increasing north winds
late Wednesday afternoon, when gusts near 40 mph are expected.

Scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected Saturday
afternoon and evening. Some strong storms are possible, but severe
weather is more probable in Oklahoma and Texas.

A very strong cold front is expected Saturday night/early Sunday
with very strong north winds. A cold snap is expected Sunday
through Monday. Expect freezing temperatures Monday and Tuesday

  - Non thunderstorm wind: Limited risk
  - Fire weather: Elevated risk

* Thursday
  No hazards.

* Friday
  No hazards.

  - Lightning: Limited risk
