...EXCESSIVE HEAT WARNING IN EFFECT UNTIL 7 PM CDT THIS EVENING...

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of central
Illinois and west central Illinois.

.DAY ONE...TONIGHT...

Very hot and humid conditions will continue this evening and
tonight. Temperatures will be in the low to mid 90s early this
evening with heat indices from 105 to 110 degrees.

Thunderstorms will be possible after midnight tonight, and could
produce locally damaging wind gusts and hail.

Minor flooding will continue along portions of the Illinois River
near Havana and Beardstown.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SUNDAY THROUGH FRIDAY...

Thunderstorms will be possible again on Sunday as a cold front
pushes through Illinois. Some of these storms could become severe
with locally damaging wind gusts and hail.

Minor flooding will persist along portions of the Illinois River
near Havana and Beardstown for several more days.

Spotter activation may be needed late tonight.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of central
Illinois, east central Illinois, southeast Illinois and west
central Illinois.

.DAY ONE...TONIGHT...

Very hot and humid conditions will continue this evening and
tonight. Temperatures will be in the low to mid 90s early this
evening with heat indices from 105 to 110 degrees.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SUNDAY THROUGH FRIDAY...

Hot and humid conditions are projected again Sunday. Highs will
be near 90 degrees, and afternoon heat indices will likely peak
near 100 degrees.

Thunderstorms will be possible on Sunday as a cold front pushes
through Illinois. Some of these storms could become severe with
locally damaging wind gusts and hail.
