Periods of rain will occur off and on through the entire weekend
into early next week as a stalled front remains over the region.
Several inches of rain can be expected to fall across the area
with the highest totals occurring across North Mississippi.
Embedded thunderstorms will also be possible at times. Increased
chances for flash flooding and river flooding may begin to occur
by the latter part of the weekend into early next week.

Temperatures will vary across the Mid-South based on if your
location is north or south of the stalled front.
