Open Lake Forecast for Lake Superior

For waters beyond 5 nautical miles of shore on Lake Superior.

Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the
highest 1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the
average of the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...

Troughing resides over eastern Lake Superior at 29.6 inches this
morning associated with a parent low of 29.3 inches over James Bay.
The 29.6 inch trough over the lake then leaves to the east today,
allowing a 30.5 inch high to move over the lake from the northwest
by Saturday. The high shifts east through Sunday in advance of a
Clipper low arriving over far western Lake Superior at 29.8 inches
by Monday morning, weakening to 30.0 inches on Tuesday.
