For waters beyond 5 nautical miles of shore on Lake Superior.

Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the
highest 1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the
average of the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...A 30.1 inch ridge of high pressure is located over
far western Lake Superior this afternoon. It will drift slowly
southeastward across the state of Michigan through Thursday
morning. On Thursday, the high will continue shifting
southeastward over the lower Great Lakes and then off the Atlantic
coast. Meanwhile, a low pressure system of 29.7 inches begins to
organize in the Plains. It will deepen to 29.6 inches and make it
as far north as western upper Michigan Friday morning before
turning southeastward and tracking across lower Michigan on
Saturday. 30.0 inch ridging returns behind the system for Sunday
and Monday.
