.SYNOPSIS...A 30.0 inch ridge continues shifting east over the
lake today, extending across Lake Superior and Upper Michigan
through tonight. The ridging increases to 30.1 inches by
Saturday as the parent high over Quebec strengthens to 30.3 inches.
As the ridge drifts northeast Saturday night into Sunday and
weakens to 30.0 inches, a 29.8 inch low tracks northeast through
the Ohio Valley and then the Lower Great Lakes Sunday night at
29.6 inches. Weak troughing over the lake continues through
Monday night while this low continues northeast into New England.
Meanwhile, another low at 29.5 inches over Alberta dives into the
Northern Plains, weakening to 29.8 inches over the Upper Midwest
by Tuesday morning. On Tuesday a 30.3 inch high builds behind the
low over the Plains, pushing east through the day and extending
ridging over the lake again by Tuesday night.
