Open Lake Forecast for Lake Superior

For waters beyond 5 nautical miles of shore on Lake Superior.

Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the
highest 1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the
average of the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...A 29.5 inch low is currently north of Lake Ontario as
a 30.1 inch high pressure ridge sits over Lake Superior. This
ridge will remain in place into Wednesday until a 29.7 inch trough
moves through Lake Superior Wednesday evening into Thursday
morning. After the trough exits a 30.0 inch high pressure will set
in across the Northern Plains before a low pressure system passes
to the south along the Lower Great Lakes on Saturday night into
Sunday.
