The National Weather Service in Paducah has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Henderson County in northwestern Kentucky...

* Until 1015 PM CDT.

* At 818 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms coalescing in
  and around Henderson county with locally heavy downpours. Radar
  estimates and spotter reports suggest between 1 and 5 inches of
  rain have fallen already. Any additional heavy rainfall and flash
  flooding is expected to begin shortly.

  HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

  SOURCE...Radar.

  IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban
           areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as
           other poor drainage and low-lying areas.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Evansville, Henderson, Mount Vernon, Corydon, Robards, and
  Hebbardsville.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
