...FLASH FLOOD WATCH WILL EXPIRE AT 7 PM CDT THIS EVENING...

The Flash Flood Watch for portions of southern Illinois, western
Kentucky, and southeast Missouri will expire at 7 PM CDT this
evening.

The circulation from the remnants of the tropical system Barry
will continue to move away from the watch area. The remaining
bands of showers and thunderstorms lingering across the watch area
will quickly dissipate after sunset.

The threat of flood producing rainfall will also diminish rapidly.
Therefore, the Flash Flood Watch will expire at 7 pm CDT this
evening.
