...Additional Tornado Documented from May 16, 2025 Tornado
Outbreak...


.Update...Video documentation recently submitted to the office
shows a satellite tornado as part of the storm that produced a
strong EF3 tornado near Sikeston, MO on the afternoon of May 16,
2025. This is now the 11th documented tornado from that day and
63rd for 2025 in the NWS Paducah area of responsibility.

Survey Summary:
Video documentation was submitted to NWS Paducah showing a
satellite tornado associated with supercell that produced an EF-
3 tornado near Sikeston, MO, occurred just north of County Road
464 in an open field. Damage was limited to a center pivot
irrigation system being overturned and small tree limbs downed.
The tornado was on the ground for 0.64 miles and had an estimated
maximum width of 100 yards. Thank you to Rhys Ward for compiling
and submitting documentation of this previously undocumented
tornado.
