On the evening of February 18th through February 19th, 2026, an area of low
pressure moved into the region around Tillamook, OR. This system brought cooler
temperatures and widespread precipitation to northwest Oregon and southwest
Washington. Snow fell throughout the area with a bulk falling along the lower
Cowlitz Valley, north Oregon/south Washington Coast Range and foothills, and
the lower I-5 corridor. Snow also fell along the Cascades which gave an
additional few inches to the snow received in the days prior.

The following preliminary snowfall reports represent a sample of those received
from area SNOTEL, state departments and the public.
