Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Southeast Kansas and Southwest and Central Missouri
National Weather Service Springfield MO
239 PM CST Mon Mar 8 2021

.DISCUSSION...

Red flag warning continues until 6 pm for western Missouri
and southast Kansas. Afternoon humidity levels in the
20s and 30s with wind gusts of 20 to 30 mph will continue.

Moisture will begin to return tonight and over the next
couple of days ahead of the next storm system.

Windy conditions expected Tuesday and Wednesday with some
wind gusts of 30 to 40 mph possible. The higher humidity
levels will mitigate the fire weather potential.

Periods of showers and thunderstorms are expected to
begin Wednesday night and will be possible through
the weekend.
