.Synopsis for Eastern North Carolina coastal waters...
Strong SW winds and elevated seas this morning, primarily between
Cape Hatteras and Surf City as a thermal trough lingers. Winds
and seas once again ease by this afternoon before yet another
potential round of elevated SW'rly winds sets up across the same
area Friday night. Lighter winds return to all waters Sat morning
before our next round of more substatial hazardous boating weather
returns to the area on Sun through Mon as a front tracks across
the region.
