   AMZ100-110900-  358 PM EDT Thu Sep 10 2026    .Synopsis for Eastern North Carolina coastal waters...  High pressure will reside offshore through the weekend as a cold  front attempts to dip south into the area. The front will stall  around the Albemarle Sound vicinity on Friday, lift back north on  Saturday, then shift south completely through the area on Sunday.  Northerly flow then lasts into early next week as high pressure  builds in from the north. The front will be accompanied by an  increased risk of thunderstorms, especially Saturday and Sunday.    $$
