   AMZ100-031930-  218 AM EDT Mon Aug 3 2026    .Synopsis for Eastern North Carolina coastal waters...  Ongoing small craft conditions persist across coastal waters and  sounds with widespread 15-25 kt S-SW winds and gusts up to 25-30  kts as well as 5-9 ft seas. Elevated winds and seas persist  throuth today before easing from west to east as high pressure  builds back in with more benign boating conditions forecast from  Tue onwards. In addition to the small craft conditions, increased  chances for showers and thunderstorms are likely into midweek as  well.    $$
