   AMZ100-100830-  325 PM EDT Thu Jul 9 2026    .Synopsis for Eastern North Carolina coastal waters...  Southwest winds increase this afternoon and evening as a low  pressure system passes north of the area resulting in Small Craft  Advisory conditions across our coastal waters and Pamlico Sound.  Gradients briefly relax early Friday but then tighten again Friday  afternoon through evening with Small Craft Advisory conditions  expected to redevelop south of Oregon Inlet. A backdoor cold front  will push through the waters Sunday with NE winds developing into  early next week. Will be monitoring for potential low development  off the coast early next week as well.    $$
