.Synopsis for Eastern North Carolina coastal waters...
A weak front will lift back toward VA tonight. Inland troughing
is expected to remain in place east of the Appalachians through
this weekend. This will lead to a southerly flow regime for an
extended period of time. Elevated winds and seas are likely over
the weekend into early next week as inland troughing deepens ahead
of an approaching front. The risk of thunderstorms is expected to
increase from Saturday into next week.
