   AMZ100-222030-  320 AM EDT Sat Aug 22 2026    .Synopsis for Eastern North Carolina coastal waters...  A weak area of low pressure will lift northeast through the  southern and central waters this morning, then move away from the  area this afternoon. East of this low, a period of elevated winds  will impact the outer coastal waters. The low will carry an  increased risk of thunderstorms as well, mainly for the coastal  waters south of Oregon Inlet. A cold front then moves slowly  through the waters Sunday and Monday with another risk of  thunderstorms. Light winds and good boating conditions return by  the middle of next week.    $$
