Warm  with brief showers ahead of a stout arctic cold front that will  push through the area late today. A return to seasonably cool  conditions through mid week before a dry cold front moves through.  A low pressure area may bring the next appreciable rain to the  region this weekend.    $$

Gusts up to 35 kt. Seas 5 to 8 ft,  building to 7 to 10 ft this afternoon. Near shore, seas 4 to  6 ft, building to 6 to 9 ft this afternoon. Wave Detail: SW 7 ft  at 7 seconds and E 4 ft at 12 seconds, becoming SW 10 ft at  8 seconds and E 3 ft at 11 seconds. Adjacent sounds and rivers  rough, increasing to very rough late this morning and afternoon.  A slight chance of rain late.  TONIGHT  NW winds 25 to 30 kt, diminishing to 20 to 25 kt after  midnight. Gusts up to 35 kt. Seas 6 to 9 ft, subsiding to 5 to  7 ft after midnight. Near shore, seas 4 to 6 ft. Wave Detail: W  8 ft at 8 seconds and E 3 ft at 11 seconds, becoming NW 6 ft at  8 seconds and E 2 ft at 11 seconds.
