   AMZ100-131615-  1105 PM EDT Fri Jun 12 2026    .Synopsis for Eastern North Carolina coastal waters...  A southwest flow regime will continue this afternoon and evening  with periods of elevated winds into tonight with a thermal  gradient in place. The risk of thunderstorms is forecast to  increase starting tonight and persist through this weekend as  moisture increases ahead of a front expected to cross area waters  Saturday and stall south of the area. Another front approaches  and stalls over the area Monday, with SW'rly winds ahead of it  posing a risk for SCAs on Sunday. A low is forecast to develop on  the boundary and work north through the Carolinas early next week  before the front finally clears the area mid- week with high  pressure building in behind it.    $$
