   AMZ100-281430-  929 PM EDT Sat Jun 27 2026    .Synopsis for Eastern North Carolina coastal waters...  A thunderstorm complex will continue to impact much of the  coastal and offshore waters, as well as the waters around the  Crystal Coast, through around midnight. In the wake of the  thunderstorms, the background southwesterly winds will return.  The next threat for showers and thunderstorms is expected Sun  afternoon and evening out ahead of an approaching cold front. Any  storm would bring a threat for locally enhanced winds and seas  with it. A weak backdoor cold will then track across the region  SUn night into Monday morning. Winds will shift to a NE'rly  direction behind the front Sun night into Mon from N to S as well.  Benign boating conditions return for next week.    $$
