.Synopsis for Eastern North Carolina coastal waters...
An area of low pressure, and an associated cold front, will move
into area waters this evening. This front is then forecast to
stall over the area through the weekend as yet another area of low
pressure moves along it on Sunday. This is expected to lead to
building east to northeast winds north of Cape Hatteras Sunday
into Monday, with southeasterly flow south of Cape Hatteras. A
more dominant southwesterly flow regime then returns by mid to
late week.
