.Synopsis for Eastern North Carolina coastal waters...
Low pressure currently noted about 200 miles SE of ENC this
morning will gradually meander off the coast today and eventually
push NE'wards and out to sea tonight as it deepens further
bringing a combination of gusty NE'rly winds and elevated seas to
our waters into tonight. Conditions then gradually improve tonight
into Thursday as the low pulls further away from the area. High
pressure then builds in behind this departing low allowing for
more benign conditions to gradually return to our waters Friday
and into the weekend. A more typical warm-season pattern then
takes hold this weekend.
