.Synopsis for Eastern North Carolina coastal waters...
A southwest flow regime is expected through FRI, with occasional
periods of elevated winds with a thermal gradient each afternoon
into evening. The risk of thunderstorms is forecast to increase
starting Fri night and persist through this weekend as moisture
increases ahead of a front expected to cross area waters Saturday
and stall S of the area. A low is expected to develop on the
boundary and work north through the Carolinas early next week
before front clears the area mid-week.
