.Synopsis for Eastern North Carolina coastal waters...
Scattered to numerous thunderstorms will continue to impact ENC
waters through around midnight tonight. Thunderstorms will be
capable of 30 to 50 knot winds, small hail, and frequent
lightning. In the wake of the thunderstorms, a weak area of low
pressure will move through, with northeasterly flow developing as
it moves away from the North Carolina coast. Tuesday onwards more
benign boating conditions are expected as a high pressure system
moves overhead.
