.Synopsis for Eastern North Carolina coastal waters...
SCA winds and seas will develop across all zones this morning
ahead of an approaching cold front that will pass tonight. Showers
and thunderstorms will move east across the area ahead of the
front this evening and some of them could produce strong to severe
wind gusts. As the front crosses tonight, the risk of hazardous
convective winds will continue through early tomorrow morning.
Another front will cross the area on Tuesday and its northerly
post-frontal surge will cause boating conditions to deteriorate
once again with elevated seas potentially lingering into late
week.
