.Synopsis for Eastern North Carolina coastal waters...
A southwest flow regime is expected for much of the remainder of
the week, with occasional periods of elevated winds with a thermal
gradient each afternoon into evening. Weakening showers and
thunderstorms are expected to work from W to E overnight tonight
across the Nern half of ENC waters. The risk of thunderstorms may
increases into the weekend as moisture increases ahead of a front
to cross area water Saturday and stall S of the area. A low is
expected to develop on the boundary and work up north through the
Carolinas early next week.
