.Synopsis for Eastern North Carolina coastal waters...
A front stalled across the waters will lift north tonight with
winds becoming SW across all waters overnight. Gradients tighten
Thursday afternoon through Thursday night bringing increasing
winds and building seas, with Small Craft Advisory conditions
expected south of Oregon Inlet. Gradients briefly relax early
Friday but then tighten again Friday afternoon through evening
with Small Craft Advisory conditions expected to redevelop south
of Oregon Inlet. A backdoor cold front will push through the
waters Sunday with NE winds developing into early next week.
