.Synopsis for Eastern North Carolina coastal waters...
Ongoing small craft conditions persist across the coastal waters
south of Oregon Inlet as widespread 15-20 kt S-SW winds and gusts
up to 25 kts as well as 4-6 ft seas are noted here with lighter
winds and seas noted elsewhere. Outside of these small craft
conditions scattered showers and thunderstorms are bringing
locally enhanced winds and seas to our waters as well this
afternoon. Elevated winds and seas persist into tonight before
easing from west to east as high pressure builds back in with more
benign boating conditions forecast from Tuesday onwards outside
of shower and thunderstorm activity Tue/Wed.
