.Synopsis for Eastern North Carolina coastal waters...
Weak high pressure will build in behind departing cold front this
morning with northerly flow lasting over area waters through
today. Winds then become gradually southerly through early week,
peaking in strength Tuesday into Wednesday ahead of a strong cold
front. SCA conditions are likely for offshore waters at a minimum
during this time. Front will stall south of the area through the
rest of the week and meander, keeping boating conditions largely
benign.
