.Synopsis for Eastern North Carolina coastal waters...
A slow moving cold front will drift south into the ENC waters on
Thursday, then stall. The front is then forecast to move offshore
by Friday night or Saturday. Hazardous conditions for small craft
will continue into this evening, followed by improving winds and
seas by Thursday. The front will be accompanied by an increased
risk of thunderstorms, especially Thursday and Friday. High
pressure then moves in over the weekend with a reduced risk of
thunderstorms, and improved boating conditions.
