.Synopsis for Eastern North Carolina coastal waters...
Strong SW winds and elevated seas return to portions of the
coastal waters tonight, primarily between Cape Hatteras and Surf
City as a thermal trough sets up. This will once again bring
unsettled boating conditions to these waters. Winds and seas once
again ease Friday morning before yet another potential round of
elevated SW'rly winds sets up across the same area Friday night.
Lighter winds return to all waters Sat morning before our next
round of more substatial hazardous boating weather returns to the
area on Sun into Mon as a front tracks across the region.
