.Synopsis for Eastern North Carolina coastal waters...
A warm front lifts through area waters tonight followed by a
strong cold front Monday night. Conditions will continue to
deteriorate through tonight with SCA conditions already being felt
across our coastal waters and slightly weaker winds being felt
across the inland sounds and rivers. Behind the warm front,
showers and storms, some of which may be strong to severe, become
likely. In additions to the shower/storm threat, Serly winds
continue to strengthen ahead of the the strong cold front leading
to Gale Warnings across coastal waters and Pamlico Sound. Strong
tstorm threat ends behind the cold front late Monday night/early
Tuesday morning. Sea driven small craft advisories likely to
continue into or through Wednesday.
