.Synopsis for Eastern North Carolina coastal waters...
A summertime pattern will end today, with a daily building of
winds and seas in the afternoon and evening associated with the
diurnal thermal gradient. This evening into Friday, a frontal
boundary is forecast to slide south into the area, lifting north
again on Saturday. This boundary will bring showers and
thunderstorms and shifting winds. Sunday onwards a summertime
pattern returns with a coastal trough offshore.
