.Synopsis for Eastern North Carolina coastal waters...
Strong Nerly surge directly behind the front bringing brief gale
force winds. Thunderstorm threat continues ahead of and along
front, but that is currently pushing outside of 60nm. Light
stratiform rain behind the boundary crosses waters tonight.
Another weaker front will cross MON, with sub SCA SW winds
becoming Nerly. Post frontal surge has SCA criteria potential.
Generally lighter Nerly winds into midweek until winds become
SWerly WED and strengthen ahead of an approaching cold front to
get clsoe to Nern waters late week.
