   AMZ500-290815-  Synopsis for Flagler Beach to Jupiter Inlet out to 60 nm  241 PM EST Wed Jan 28 2026      .SYNOPSIS...High pressure slides eastward, briefly enhancing  winds and producing poor boating conditions in the Gulf Stream  tonight into early Thursday. A period of improved conditions is  forecast as the high sits nearly overhead Thursday afternoon into  Friday. Strong low pressure is then expected to form near Florida  Friday night, exiting into the Atlantic on Saturday. This is  forecast to become a strong nor'easter as it moves up the Eastern  Seaboard. Dangerous gale conditions are anticipated by Saturday  night in the wake of this storm.    .GULF STREAM HAZARDS...Northwest winds 15 to 20 knots and seas up  to 6 feet.    The approximate location of the west wall of the Gulf Stream based on  the Real Time Ocean Forecast System as of Wednesday, January 28th, 2026.    46 nautical miles east of Ponce Inlet.  36 nautical miles east of Port Canaveral.  29 nautical miles east of Sebastian Inlet.  21 nautical miles east of Fort Pierce Inlet.  14 nautical miles east of Saint Lucie Inlet.    $$

Wave Detail: North 6 feet at 7 seconds  and east 2 feet at 10 seconds.  THURSDAY NIGHT  Northeast winds 5 to 10 knots. Seas 3 to  5 feet, occasionally to 6 feet. Wave Detail: North 4 feet at  7 seconds and east 2 feet at 10 seconds.  FRIDAY  West winds 5 to 10 knots. Seas 3 to 4 feet.
