A gentle east to southeast breeze continues over the Atlantic waters
today, with a gentle southeast breeze over the Gulf waters that
shifts southwesterly in the afternoon. A couple of isolated showers
are possible over the waters, but mostly dry weather should prevail
for today. Heading into late week, increasing chances for showers
and thunderstorms will occur as a frontal boundary and low pressure
system begin to push across the area. Winds will also shift
southerly to southwesterly during this same time frame to end the
week.
